If you’re a parent or carer – why not get involved. There are so many ways that you can play your part in BSYM Young Musicians – with as much or as little involvement as you like.

Tuck Shop

Help us run our (in)famous tuck shop – the best in Bath. All you need to do is spend half an hour selling tuck once a term. eMail tuck@bsym.org.uk to sign up.

School Representatives

As part of our drive to let more students know about BSYM, we’re appointing parents to be School Representatives. All you need to do is ask the school permission to put up our posters – and to make sure they stay visible! Interested? Then eMail: rep@bsym.org.uk

Join the BSYM Young Musicans Committee

If you have more time to give then why not join the committee that raises money to support the smooth running of BSYM, providing funding for concerts, instruments, music and publicity. eMail committee@bsym.org.uk

The Team

BSYM Young Musicians is run by a committed team of professional musicians, the majority of whom are instrumental teachers employed by Bath and North East Somerset Music Service.

Wind tutors: Andrew Foister, Anne Scolding, Danny Madden and Estelle Greeley

String tutors: Louise Jenkins, Ann Staples and Carol Mills

Percussion tutor: Mark Whitlam
